About the Recipe
This cheese is super fast and easy to prepare and offers a healthy alternative to dairy cheese without loosing flavor! Great for pizza, casseroles, wraps, pasta and more!!
Ingredients
1 cup Cashews or Pumpkin Seeds
4 tbsp Nuritional Yeast
3/4 cup Avacodo Oil or Grapeseed Oil
1 tsp Salt
Pepper to taste
2 tsp Apple Cider Vinegar
A dash (Optional) Turmeric for color
Preparation
Step 1
Soak cashews for 10-30 minutes (pumpkin seeds soak for 1 hour)
Step 2
Put all ingredients in a blender and blend to creamy consistency. If you like it more creamy add Nutritional Yeast. If you like it less creamy add a little splash of water.
Nutritional Benefits
Nutritional Yeast is rich in B12. Turmeric is a GREAT anti-inflammatory. Avocado and grape seed oil are healthy choices (as opposed to canola or vegetable oil). Apple Cider vinegar is a great probiotic that supports your microbiome!!
